Ally’s Bloody Mary Recipe

Ally’s Bloody Mary Recipe – A must for any brunch!

Who doesn’t love a good Bloody Mary? Okay, so some of you don’t like tomato juice. But for the rest of us, we love watching a football game with a delicious Blood Mary.

Whenever Scott and I go on vacation, we love try the different recipes the resorts have. It’s amazing how different they can be.

Ally's Bloody Mary Mix Recipe

This is a tricky drink to make and everyone has a different style. Scott likes his Bloody Mary’s really spicy and not too acidic. I prefer the exact opposite.  Lately, we’ve purchased a few boutique mixes and have liked some of them.  At the same time, we just spent $14 on a quart and it was horrible. It tasted like a jar of pickle juice! What a waste of money.  Why gamble, when you can make your own?

Finding the perfect blend for the both of us.

How do you come up with the perfect blend, when we like opposite things? Scott and I were able to do that, by adding other ingredients and flavors that blended well with each of our likes.

In addition, when it comes to spiciness, you can always add more spice, but you can’t take it out. In this recipe we used regular Svedka vodka (yes, I love this vodka and I’m Swedish too!).  I also garnished them with Mama Lil’s Spicy Asparagus! Let me tell you, these guys have a kick!

Bloody Mary Recipe

This recipe is easy to whip up at home and take with you on your boating trip. It will keep for up to a week in the fridge.  This is the only way to go, when it comes to enjoying a great Bloody Mary!  Enjoy!  Ally
