  • 30′ x 3/4″ dock line for boats with 18″ eyelet. Tensile strength: 10,503 lb / Recommended maximum working load: 2,430 lb.
  • Premium double braided nylon that is ultra strong with a higher tensile strength than other dockline materials. By design, it has an ideal combination of decreased stretch and increased shock absorption.
  • Soft double braided nylon boat ropes that are easy on your boat finish and comfortable to handle.

Description

The Ballard Locks consist of two locks – the large and the small locks. Upon arrival, the lock workers will tell you which locks to enter and you don’t have a choice. If you go through the large locks, you will need two 50′ lock lines with an eye to throw up to the dock handlers at the locks. We’ve only gone through the large locks once, but we were able to tie up to the boat next to us. Better to be safe than sorry.
